I bought the BDVE300 to go which has a Sony 52Z5100 HDTV that I also decided to buy from Amazon. I acquired it mainly simply because I wanted to match the two items for each esthetic and useful motives. The black speakers match the Tv for pc completely. I may handle both equally with 1 controller and quickly run the Tv for pc appear through the HTS. I'm not an audiophile. So I didn't attempt to look at technical specs.
